What is AudiencaBot?
AudiencaBot is the fetching service of Audienca Reflection. It only reads websites that an Audienca customer has entered in their business profile as their own website. We use the content exclusively as the knowledge base for that customer’s answers.
- No training of AI models
- No sharing with third parties
How does it behave?
- At most one request per second. A
Crawl-delaydirective in robots.txt is respected. - Fetches once a week, or when the customer triggers it manually in Audienca.
- At most 100 pages per website.
- In “identifiable as AudiencaBot” mode, it respects robots.txt rules for
User-agent: AudiencaBot.
How to recognize it
User agent:
Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; AudiencaBot/1.0; +https://audienca.com/bot)
Fixed IP addresses:
49.13.135.18291.107.204.243
Allowing AudiencaBot (for customers)
If your website’s protection blocks our requests, allow AudiencaBot by its IP addresses.
Cloudflare
Under Security → WAF → Tools → IP Access Rules, create one rule with the action Allow for each of the IP addresses above. This works on all Cloudflare plans and also applies to Bot Fight Mode.
A WAF custom rule is not enough: according to Cloudflare, Bot Fight Mode cannot be skipped that way. See the Cloudflare documentation on Bot Fight Mode and IP Access Rules.
WordPress with Wordfence
Under Wordfence → Firewall → All Firewall Options → Allowlisted IP addresses, add the IP addresses above.
Other security plugins or hosting firewalls
Allow the IP addresses or the user agent AudiencaBot. If you need your hosting provider to do this, simply send them the link to this page.
Blocking AudiencaBot (for site operators)
Add the following to your robots.txt:
User-agent: AudiencaBot
Disallow: /
Fetching only happens at the website owner’s request: AudiencaBot only reads a website if an Audienca customer has registered it as their own.
